Yall ain't peep game... Wilder knows the perfect range for his power shots

He had to let Ortiz feel comfortable at that range to have a shot.... His lack of offense was deliberate to let Ortiz feel comfortable at the perfect distance....

The risk in that strategy was thatt he
almost got his head knocked off.... But the reward was the ko victory he was banking on to begin with....

If this fight tells me anything is that Wilder is willing to take mad punishment to set folk up for his best shots..

Nah. That migga was praying in the ring bruh. He knew he was bout to lose. His athleticism and a lucky right in an inside exchange saved him. Ortiz got caught when he was tired.

He kept backing up early almost to the point he was jumping back... He wanted Ortiz to come closer and closer when he pursued...

That wild flurry.... That was what he was waiting for... You can't scramble like that at a distance... And as long as Ortiz was fighting on the outside Wilder didn't want to come over to get countered....

He only jumped when Ortiz got too close

I strongly beg to differ.... Watch his right hand.... He really only threw it when Ortiz was in the danger zone.... Other than that he was jabbing and moving backwards

Wait till I get home @King Du.
I ain't saying he ain't almost got killed

I'm saying he let dude in hoping to ko him with the right.....

It wasn't really luck, cuz he was banking on that shit.... No matter how much he got rocked, he knew that Ortiz was inside the right could drop him....

So he fought a fight that invited Ortiz inside....

They both were fighting from the outside early.... And Ortiz was winning that fight...

It's only when he came in did he get hurt... The first time he went down.....
. After that he won every round before and even after.

Wilder baited him inside again... Took some heavy hits... But once he was lined up... He put his ass down again....

Solid fight plan given Wilder skill set

once he hurt Ortiz they both got to a point where they were that trepidation went out the window thats when the fight got close to being "inside" it wasnt due to a master plan imo.

You don't get to that level and not be
Sure you do especially at heavyweight come on especially the level of competition hes fought for the first 10 years of his career.. he wasnt comfortable enough to unleash that right hand as he usually does because he faced a legit boxer with a good punch

I hate watching Wilder fight. He looks like he lacks all technique and skill, but he keeps on winning. Power and chin alone can only take you so far so either his competition is wack or looks are deceiving when it comes to his abilities.
