Welcome To aBlackWeb

Like he completely STOPPED the Vibranium search. And us government thought it was Wakanda looking, so the war was eventually going to come to Wakanda exactly like Namor said I'm the end.

The only difference is this time Wakanda knows about them.

If they never revealed themselves, Wakanda would have been all fucked up trying to prevent way, trying to figure out who was responsible, and completely oblivious that these people can come into their city whenever they want.

The better plan would have been to continue to do shit that makes Wakanda the enemy of the world without ever revealing them selves then when the were at their weakest...
Siege the land and take their place. Without Wakanda no one would stop them and no one would have knowledge on their existence.

As it is now, for it to play it the way Namor wants it to.... Those who know the most about him also don't trust him and might have plans for the double cross if that's his intension.

Again, the movie was good. I just think Namor played his hand horribly. He risked too much. Shuri wanted the world to burn at one point. The world burning would not have benefit Namor, cuz he was literally being burned alive and had to rely on her mercy to survive it.

Also discussion about what would happen in a hypothetical Namor film since the film ends with some dissension going on around Namor's idea to call off the battle. Attuma never appeared again and he's a Namor antagonist in the comics so it would be civil war in Talokan

I still can’t get over the “how can Shuri (the black Panther by the way) square up against Namor? She’s a woman”

Niggas was committed to dying on that hill for absolutely no good reason
Yeah that was dumb. The very first thing about this entire movie I said was if anybody knows how to build a proper warrior princess it's Disney. They handled shuri perfectly. She was a very believable imo. I knew she wouldn't kill Namor, but she did a very good job of displaying the want to do so while having a great opportunity

Disney didn’t build her.

Don’t give credit where credit isn’t due

Then the realization came that Namor(like Hulk) cant have his own movies as it stands now. Womp womp

Du ima be real brief cause I feel like you missed something.

Namor didn’t randomly have a gripe with Wakanda. He mentions something along the lines of the only reason governments are looking for Vibranium is cause TChalla opened up Wakanda to the world so he put the responsibility on Shuri and them.
He could have done that from the shadows though.

Him revealing himself to Wakanda tactically wasn't a good move.

The better movie is to continue to disrupt the world attempt to find Vibranium and let the world blame Wakanda for their actions.

There was some discussion about what's next. Some of us deduced that America (Contessa works in the CIA) has plans to invade Wakanda in the next film
That's my point. This was the end game regardless based on the way things were going.

Namor attack on the ship had everyone thinking Wakanda did it, and the pieces were already in motion for that invasion.

They could have fell back. And let that happen..or speed it up by doing more shit Wakanda would have gotten blamed for.

Granted that movie would have sucked.... But the plan makes way more sense

He played it perfect.

Also. She took it upon herself to to find iron heart and protect her even though she was a huge threat to namor entire civilization.

Once they decided to protect her it was basically a declaration of war by Wakanda

Yeah that shit was weak.

Your kind told the world about vibranium so now its your responsibility to stop them from looking round my place for vibranium.

Then when he had Shuri and ol girl.. he coulda just killed her outright but instead took Shuri on a tour and got salty when Wakanda came back to get their princess.

Dude had multiple opportunities to prevent conflict but chose not to at every turn until he got toasted

Riiiiiight.....he had NO REASON to keep them alive
. He didn't even attempt to negotiate their return. He just thought Wakanda would be cool with defending them as long as they had shuri hostage?

Like was that his plan? I think not. I think he knew they would come after hey and wanted to use that as the excuse to war.

But he almost died. His chances to defeat Wakanda and stay alive went up considerably had he just killed shuri and RiRi

Wakanda would have had no shot defending their invasion.

No he didn't.

He revealed their city

He gave shuri the means to make a new heart shaped herb

He got non military members of his family killed

He was almost burned alive. Which would have been disastrous for both Wakanda and his city.

He played that whole thing horribly

No it wasn't.

It was declared when nakia took shuri back after Namor laughed at negotiating her return.

How kidnapped a princess and offered no negotiations. He was Wakanda supposed to respond? That was an impossible situation.

Then he KILLED THE QUEEN. And said y'all either get down or lay down. He could have ended it then.. But he kept it going just to place them in another impossible situation. His death. His death would have been bad for both sides. Yet that was his play....

It was a bad play. Cuz anything other than shuri showing mercy is bad for everybody

Shuri protected the person they was after.

She was the only threat to build that machine again.

Once you take that stand to stand by her you are the enemy.

Yet he took her on a tour of the city. Gave her a herb that could restore their protector.

If she's an enemy why not kill both her and RiRi?

ESPECIALLY if you're not negotiating their release?

Namor played that bad.
