Ray Leonard is a horrible example to use cause all you have to do is look at is his resume and when he fought those people. The only person he stalled out was Hagler and he can't be faulted that much for that cause of who he had already fought and the injuries he came back from.

My point is if you give him Twitter in 1980 his side of the story would sound different and the opinion of the fight might be different. In 1980 we get a press release, and that's it. In the social media age you get 1,000+ different takes on why a fight didn't happen.

You got a million different media sources who will interview anyone close enough for a take and use it as click bait.

You got highly opinionated fans with you tube pages that get millions of hits and influence public opinion.

My whole point is money and politics ALWAYS been at play.

You googled where Pryor turned down the money offered. That's just one article from one point of view, and it's dead.

How many different takes have been published from how many different sources about what's going on between Spence and Crawford. You have to be aware of the difference
