Faizon Love Says “F*** Judd Apatow” and Dave Chappelle

Lol.

Fazion speaking facts mane.

Dave was not on the scene until the 2nd season of Chappelle Show when "niggas" started getting on dude.

All the 90s movies didn't feature Chappelle. Nigga was in Robin Hood Men in Tights and wasn't funny in that shit.

Cacs prop this dude up to where he's at now IMO, just my opinion

Explain how CACs propped him up. He and his people pitched the show. He and his people put the show together. He and his people made the show what it was. Please explain what CACs did other than give him an opportunity AFTER he put in the work to show he deserved the shot. I don't really understand this criticism. So what if Dave didn't really get on until after the show. He still made it based on his own work and talent.

You just answered your own question in the last few sentences in your post.

You asking me how Cacs propped him up, when at the end of your post, you stated that he really didn't get on until after the show.

So again, why should I explain how cacs propped him up when you answered the questioned yourself. You shot your own self in the chest.

You don't understand the criticism or truth because you don't want to and I can't help another man see truth.

Faizon along with others in this thread already laid out facts on how Dave's career was and has become. The was part is something hard for his fans to swallow and hold on too, thus the whole "who cares" or "why does it matter" talk, It doesn't matter to you nor does it to me, but truth over-rules a lot of things.

You can't change reality and all the Faizon dude in the interview was telling the truth about how black ppl wasn't fucking with dude

Back in the 90s, and beyond, black comedians were (on) when the black audience accepted them (1st).

Look back at old stand-up of your favorite comics and see the direction of their shows.

Martin - You So Crazy was for a black audience, when that shit came out in theaters, you couldn't get a ticket for this shit. Shit was crazy.

If they were a household name in the black household, as a comic you had arrived and were (on). Today it's different, when cacs accept you and your show is 60/40 cacs or 65/35 cacs in the crowd, you are (on) thus why Dave is where he's at in a sense.

If I'm lying about this, go back and listen to old stand-up when black comics would mention, something along the lines, "oh we have a few cacs in the crowd, yadda, yadda" These comics were use to performing in front of black ppl.

At the time that movie came out, that shit was trashed and niggas didn't fuck with movies that were trashed.

I don't recall a bunch of niggas going to the movies nor talking about going to the movies to see Half Baked.

That movie was not on the scene in 98.

Stop saying black ppl weren't, that isn't a fact for all blacks, some did, either many or some didn't... that "many or some" whatever it is isn't all of us.

lol What? First, I didn't state he only got on after the show. I just went with line of reasoning that you put out. Granted, I agree that the show is what blew him up, but he probably wouldn't have even been able to sit down with Comedy Central if not for the career he had up to that point. That's pretty much how anything goes. No matter what your job is, you don't just start that shit and get a promotion to being the boss the first day. You have to put in work to get to that position. That's what he did. He put in work to get the opportunity to have a show. He then took advantage of that opportunity. You still have yet to explain, how him doing that is somehow a negative against his career or how he was propped by whites instead of by his own talent.

Black ppl really started fucking with Dave in 98 when Half Baked dropped.

That’s was 20 years ago

His star went to the next level with Season 1 of his show.

No whites folks wasn't the reason he blew up, whites folks was his biggest audience before he did Chappelle Show.

Skip to 1 hour 22 min mark.

What % would you say black ppl around the world fucked with Dave before the CS?

I'ma say 4-7% you may be in that number

What crazy is that he said Dave never been funny “fact”

Nigga. You can’t make an assumption on something that involves personal preference and call it facts.

And had the nerve to say Charlie Murphy made the show like niggas was heavily rocking with before CS.

1. What career did he have up until that point?

2. Who was his audience?

3. What shows were black ppl watching on Comedy Central? outside from South Park at that time

4 Why are you twisting the narrative, I never said anything negative about the dude, I'm saying black ppl didn't fuck with Dave before CS. What is negative about that. It's negative because it doesn't fit (your) narrative and image of reality of the dude career path?

5. Who propped Dave, See #2. Who was Dave's fan base bro?

Don't know the percentage, don't care really, I do know black folks in my area liked him

I remember being in middle school and everybody around the block was saying dude was funny when Half Baked dropped. And just 3 years after that everybody couldn’t wait to see the next Skits on CS on Comedy Central. Everybody was quoting them shits in High School.

Don't know the percentage, don't care really, I do know black folks in my area liked him

So if you don't care, why are we discussing this black number when you can't give a guess to how many black ppl fucked with Dave before CS?

I'm dropping you context clues and giving you something to think on to why I'm stating black ppl aint fuck with Dave before CS and you making it seem like what I am saying is thin.

Truth is white ppl did not prop up Dave

Until black ppl fully got on when CS dropped that’s when he became a star. Before that he was just a funny dude that didn’t get his shot yet (like all comedians)

Don’t matter when Dave became “black famous”

Saying he’s not funny and don’t deserve money is hating. Shit clear as a fresh bottle of Voss Water

1. What comedians before him didn't get their shot? You do know what class he's in right? You do know Dave has been around for a minute huh?

2. Black ppl started watching DC when it aired? or did black ppl started latching on Season 2 when it rolled around when they started seeing the hottest rappers in the game on the show, X, Luda, Cee-lo, Big Boi, Snoop, that's when black ppl started fucking wit it heavy
