Look at what you said...called Goodell a faggot and talked shit about the owners. You really think you about to call the heads of the league that and keep your job? That's not about insulting gay people That's about insulting the people above your pay grade.

That's not about gay people and any pretend threat to boycott the NFL as if that's who the NFL is trying to reach as a target audience. This is the same league that while pretending to give a fuck about women by making players wear pink for a couple weeks yet employs multiple proven domestic abusers. The same league that gives so little a fuck about Black people that a story about them literally using a test that is based on the idea of Black people being naturally dumber barely made a blip in the radar.

The NFL has proven time and time again they don't give a fuck about nothing but it's public image and these owners will throw anybody on the sword to protect that image. Gruden just found out the hard way.

I definitely think people put more stock in the things like sending pictures of the cheerleaders and the comments about Michael Sam more harshly...but I still don't think those alone got him fired. I also think we know Gruden is from the generation of calling someone a faggot doesn't literally mean calling them gay. So I'm not reading that as an insult towards gays but more the way it was used previously. And Goddell being of that same time you aint just about to call no man that and that shit just slide.
