What Are You Cooking for Dinner Tonight??

Boy have a seat...everything is good af lol

I made gravy...oyster sauce is essential for this

Of course I have soy sauce...you can't even make a chinese dish without it Edit: I use low sodium soy sauce

Duck sauce is nasty to me...plum sauce however is *chef's kiss*

I've heard good things about plum sauce but never had it

How did the sauce come out, @Scandalust313 ? Was it similar to what you get it a restaurant?
Yes sir...better, in fact

I used about a tsp or so of oyster sauce, low sodium chicken broth, 3 or 4 dashes of soy sauce, garlic & onion powder, white pepper and a smidge of cayenne pepper. No need for salt even though I used low sodium broth and soy sauce...they have a enough salt content that I didn't need any more

What's the difference between spicy mustard and Chinese spicy mustard?

And hell yea plum sauce Is waaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy better
I can't really articulate the difference in taste...but it tastes different than, say, French's or Heinz spicy mustard

If you still get chinese takeout, ask them for 3 or 4 packets...they're stingy AF with it and if you don't specify how many you want, they'll only give you 1 lol

Yaaaasss...plum sauce ftw!!!

When I was making egg rolls months ago, the video I followed was showing how to make plum sauce. But I didnt feel like making it because I would have had to go back to the store. It also showed how to make spicy mustard. It is simple.
