New job is requiring me to be fully vaccinated

Now that there's a vaccine, I think the hospitals should refuse to accept people that refuse to get vaccinated who catch Covid. I mean, it's a waste of time and resources to try to save people who could have simply taken 5 minutes to go to the local pharmacy and get a free shot.

When I caught Covid there wasn't a vaccine...yet. Now that there's a vaccine there's really no reason to care for people that refuse to get the vaccine. I mean, you're basically committing suicide if you refuse to get the vaccine. I was in a coma for 2 weeks. I woke up with tubes in my stomach and in my throat wearing diapers. If all of that could be avoided by getting the vaccine the hospital would have saved hundreds of man hours on me alone.

Everybody knows about Covid and that it's a deadly pandemic. Everybody also knows you can go to your local pharmacy and get a free shot.

Why should the hospital waste resources on a person that refuses to get the shot?

That's like a person that already has emphysema and asthma that smokes two packs a day. Should the hospital try to save his life or is that a waste of hospital resources? The person obviously wants to die, so let them die.

I think the vaccines should be free because it's a public health issue, but if people refuse to get the vaccine then let em die. The world is overpopulated as it is.

This nigga said he woke up wearing diapers lol

Alot of information, but my Lady who is a Scientist and has a PHD Biochemistry, Cell and Developmental just answered some questions about the booster shot. Thought it can contribute to the thread. She also mentioned for when folks look at scientific articles, to click on hyperlink to get to primary research article and read the "abstract". If the abstract is structured, read the "conclusion" section of it for major takeaways stated simply and succinctly

Q1: What does scientists say about this booster shot? Is it safe. How much RNA is safe for our bodies? So many questions...Also, the National News Media has not mentioned all the Covid Amputee's. 😳😳😳

Her response:

A1: Yes! Ask ALL the questions!

The upside about these mRNA vaccines is that they exploit the ephemeral characteristic of RNA. Not only is RNA an inherently unstable molecule, but our cells also have many well regulated processes devoted to quickly locating and degrading it. With this, the mRNA that was injected during your first and second vaccine doses is looooooong gone from your body at this point, so there won’t be any RNA building up within your body with a booster shot. Sooooo about these booster shots…
Our lab hasn’t seen any evidence to support the need for booster shots. Rather, we’re seeing a sustained immune response in vaccinated folks (IgG+ against SARS-CoV-2 spike protein) 6 months after receiving a complete vaccination protocol. With monthly sampling of our study participants, we’re able to follow everyone and will continue to actively monitor these trends on a weekly basis. But plainly: the current trends don’t yet show a waning immune response 6 mo following a full vaccination protocol, meaning the vaccine is still effective. This is a great thing!
It’s important to note, however, that I’m speaking of relatively healthy individuals here. Data shows immunocompromised individuals and those on immunosuppressive drugs mount weaker immune responses to the available COVID-19 vaccines. Providing a booster shot to this subgroup of people helps them achieve an immune response that is comparable to what’s seen in “healthy” individuals with the original two doses.
My personal two cents? Worldwide vaccine availability is way too poor for me to support booster shots to non-immunocompromised individuals in the US right now. The data doesn’t necessarily support it yet and I’d rather focus on getting vaccines to countries in need than try to boost here. We are all connected through travel and trade so I feel it’s important to maximize the number of fully vaccinated people worldwide and THEN talk boosters… but that’s just me.
As for the amputee literature, it’s been chilling in my “Read Me” folder so I don’t know much about it yet. Please hold while I yank a few articles out and see what’s going on with that :)

I'll post the other question later so it won't be too much information, but here is the article to support what she said :)

@Race Jones you are an idiot.

I woke up in the hospital 2 weeks after they found me laying on the floor.

I don't eat pork. Pork has worms in it and fucks up your blood flow. I think that's what saved me. But I was still in the hospital for 2 1/2 months.

If you die in the immediate future, everybody on this message board will agree that you are so stupid that you deserve to die.

People that are that stupid shouldn't be on the planet wasting space and using the air us intelligent people breathe.

Out of curiosity @Race Jones, do you have a will?

Globally, the most common foodborne parasite, with over 1.6 billion cases yearly, doesn't come from pork or any animal for that matter...

... it comes from raw vegetables.

Pork ain't the problem y'all think it is.

The parasite is called Ascaris, and when they collect in your intestines the shit looks like ramen noodles.

Once I found that shit out, I was like "well fuck it... Lemme holler at this here bacon".

Without doing any research, I think you're talking about parasites on the vegetables, not inside the vegetables. That's why you're supposed to rinse the vegetables off before you eat them.

But I've never heard of vegetables being unhealthy because they have parasites. That's news to me.

I got the Moderna two-shot series earlier this year as soon as essential workers (manufacturing) were allowed to get it. No ill effects at all. It's not about me. I think I can survive getting sick. I don't want to pass that sickness on to someone who may not be able to recover. Trying to do my part as a fellow human being.

You gotta read everything, not just the stuff that falls in line with your system of values. If you've never thought to google "parasites from vegetables" then you probably would never see that.

Haven't read every page, but me job is requiring vaccination by 10/15 so everybody can come back to work 10/18.

I'm vaxxed so I'm good but I hope we get to keep a couple of days of remote work per week.

U can still get covid with the vaccine, the vaccine is just so that covid isn't as potent and won't have you in the hospital on tubes.
