New job is requiring me to be fully vaccinated

I cant knock people's reason for being skeptical. Most reasons at least. Pharmaceutical companies dont always get it right. There have been plenty pharm companies that released dangerous product to the public and got sued for it. Look at what happened to purdue. Using underhanded tactics to pedal their very addictive pain killers.

You can’t sue Pfizer or Moderna if you have severe Covid vaccine side effects. The government likely won’t compensate you for damages either

Yeah I don't think skepticism is bad in theory...but some of the reasons people keep giving are very much full of dumbasses you wouldn't wanna find yourself agreeing with
Agreed, that is why I had to say "most" reasons. Yeah, some of the theories I cant get with. Like the microchip theory.

i hate when you losers come in my thread with dumbness. i was just told yesterday evening that a test kit would be sent to me by fri to take the test

so yes it shocked me when they called me just now and told me i have to be fully vaccinated and the start date is being pushed back a month

tf
I mean I think technically to be fully vaccinated you need the 4 weeks between the first shot plus the 2 weeks(if you take the 2 shot vaccines)

I think government jobs are mandating the shot now

It's been a few months but I've talked with a few tech companies that weren't requiring it but they may be now

Once you get the first one you should check out if your state is giving anything out(money). There's still companies giving out free shit for people getting the shot

Under normal circumstances, I wouldn't care about people being skeptical. You don't want to get the flu vaccine because you think big pharma is poisoning you? That's fine. However, with COVID it's a little different because people not getting vaccinated and taking other basic precautions are why we are still dealing with COVID.

Now if you're unvaccinated but still taking precaution, it's all good, but a lot of these unvaccinated people still want to be out and about with no mask and that's the problem.
I agree with the "not taking precautions" part.

I was skeptical before and all the inducements would make me more skeptical.... but thats what some people need unfortunately which is wild...

thats the thing. vaxxers eat up the propganda that they are somehow more educated and more patriotic “thank you for protecting your fellow man 🇺🇸🇺🇸 ” than anti vaxxers

and anti -vaxxers eat up the propganda that they are free thinkers and far more advanced than vaxxers by dening science and the general consensus on vaccinations and immunization

and then theres a small group of ppl, such as myself, that has been doing what was outlined in the beginning (social distance, wash your hands, wear a mask) because the information on this virus has changed 72628272828228 times since its inception

i mean damn!! just calm the fuck down and cool out with the shaming and finger wagging

and the majority of those “harmful” things are approved by the fda….

You're right...which is why I also look at people who say they won't take the vaccine because it's not fda approved are stupid too. But in that post I wasn't talking about fda approved things. I'm talking people who smoke and drink and pill pop their weeks away but become Rhode scholars when it comes to this vaccine

@Race Jones I had Covid. I was in the hospital for 2 1/2 months. The Covid caused me to have a heart attack and I passed out. Luckily my friend couldn't get in contact with me and knew something was wrong. She called the fire department and they broke into my apartment and found me laying on the floor. I woke up in the hospital 2 weeks later.

I had a feeding tube in my stomach that just got taken out a few days ago. I also had a tube going down my throat to help me breathe. While I was in the hospital I couldn't get up and go to the bathroom and had to wear diapers for 2 months. I was bedridden the entire time so the last two weeks of my hospital stay I had to do physical therapy so I could walk again. When you lay in bed for 2 months your muscles get weak from not walking (or doing anything). So I couldn't really walk at first. I was using a wheelchair to get to the other side of the hospital where the therapy was because I couldn't walk to the other end of the hospital. I got home on June 2 and I just got the feeding tube taken out of my stomach earlier this week.

All that is to say @Race Jones you are a complete moron if you don't get the shots. I mean you are dumber than a rock if you know about the worldwide pandemic and would rather wear a flimsy cloth mask rather than get a shot that's been approved by the medical community.

In fact, if you refuse to get the shot then you are probably the stupidest person on the planet.

Get the shots!

What's funny is the advice about masking up and social distancing is coming from the same people who also want you to take the vaccine. So where exactly is the line drawn on what advice you, a general you not you personally, are willing to accept from those in charge of things?

Wow. That is crazy but I get it. They were rushed to put out the vaccine by the government. It is the gov that approved the drugs. Slippery slope in giving this type of immunity

Is that immunity going to change once they fully approve it? Interesting times we're living in.

Is there no second option?

Like, I cant go into any of our government buildings without providing a negative covid test and the test is good for 3 days. And they require all to wear a mask including the vaccinated
Bruh. You’d rather get that long ass swap shoved halfway up your head over and over again instead of just getting the shot? Or do you still have to get tested even if vaccinated?
