NaS can't win with production on his albums amongst some of his listeners

When Salaam Remi was helming album after album ya'll still complained

I said it in the last album thread... remix his albums if ya'll don't feel them
i like the way you phrases this

to me, as someone not intimately in the know about Hit boy, to me, none of his beats sound the same

niggas in paris dont sound like grinding all my life

the Cure doesnt sound anything like Spicy

etc...

im glad Nas looked towards the younger generation for his sound and even more glad he let one dude produce his last two projects. one underrated thing about both the albums is the sequencing of the songs.

This is another good ass album from Nas and im happy a dude like Hit boy getting some shine

just putting this out there BUT, i wouldnt have been mad if Jay was feat on EPMD

" TECs in the dresser, money off tech, pushing a Tesla
Rolled up a fresh one, it's one IPO to the next one
Rich from corporate or thuggin', expensive mistakes
It's all a racket, it's the same thing, just the risk that you take
Moving too fast, blues on your ass
The boys came through with the task
Peep through the blinds, you knew it was curtains
Breadwinner take a L, leave the whole family hurting
Seen it a million times, sister washed him out with the verdict" - Nas

Thinking about going to see him live in October. Never seen Nas live

EPMD2 probably the only track I can do without. Everything else ranges from great to solid. It’s not better than KD1 but it’s still a really good album especially production wise. Hit Boy one of my favorite producers right now. Nas still got it this been a big year for dude. 4/5
