Breaking News New York City will require proof of vaccination to enter all restaurants and fitness centers, Mayor Bill de Blasio announces.

Someone asked earlier. It doesn't matter to vaccinated people if people are not vaccinated. I guess if a family member isn't they'll care, but that's about it.

Those in charge though have to protect people from themselves sometimes. They can't have a bunch of people dying on their watch.

It does matter to the health systems too. The more people in the hospital from covid the less room for other patients.

Much ado about nothing imo

I'm not getting vaccinated and I'd rather rock a mask and keep away from ppl for the foreseeable future

Covid gave me a perfect excuse to be a recluse and I'm not giving that up no time soon
Also you

That thumbs down aged well huh......

Nobody gets polio anymore.
Nobody gets measles, mumps, or rubella once they get vaccinated.

Niggas still catch the flu after the shot, and niggas still dying after this covid shit.

These ain't good vaccines y'all. If you still get the shit after getting the vaccine, then the vaccine is shitty.

Damn Koncept I just scheduled my appointment for the vaccine

now im about to cancel the shit 😂😂😂😂😂🤣

But if you're vaccinated, why does it matter if I'm not?

A ton of reasons. But lets go with this.

Say im vaccinated and safe, but my kid is not cause my kid is under 12. We in the same resturant, i get covid from you.

Im totally good. Dont even feel it, cause im vaccinated, but my kid catches it from me.

My kid goes to school and gets 50 other kids sick. One of those kids dies.

Thats fucked up.

So thats one reason why it matters if im vaccinated and youre not.

this has yet to be explained in a way that makes sense
Just cause you are vaccinated doesn’t mean you can’t catch COVID, if you are vaccinated and do catch COVID. It’s more than likely you with be asymptomatic. Which means you won’t even know that you have it and because you are maskless it’s more likely for you to transmit to those that aren’t. Like when a kid gets a vaccine for chicken pox, it doesn’t prevent the kid from being a carrier of the virus. But If all the kids he is around have the antibodies in them. It won’t negatively affect them.

Why is everyone acting like they don’t know how vaccines work. We‘ve been getting them for years. The most bugged out thing I think is if there was a vaccine for herpes and aids..folks would flock to get it just so they can fuck raw. Like..not dying a drowning death above water isn’t a good enough incentive for people. But having to tell a partner you got herpes before fucking is a good enough incentive.

if vaccinated ppl carry the virus in their nose at the same rate of those that r unvaccinated, whats the point?

i keep hearing that vaccinated ppls likelihood of dying is lower but do we really know that for sure?

Not saying this number can be trusted, but if you trust numbers, 99.999% of deaths are unvaccinated people, according to CDC data.

Are kids really dying from covid like that? Also, does the vaccine stop it from spreading? Or just stops symptoms?

If my goal was to get people vaccinated no.
From a health standpoint, I don't get why it would matter.

Does the vaccine prevent the virus from mutating? Real question, I have no clue either way.

Virus' mutate when they have a place to mutate in. In thia case, human bodies. If everyone was vaccinated, the virus wont have a place to live, and so no new variants can come out.
