This chart from that paper shows over 50 yrs old fully vaxxed has higher death rate than over 50 unvaxxed.

Under 50 yrs old numbers work more in fully vaxxed favor but the death rate is miniscule af any way u slice it regardless of age group

I'm not saying don't get vaxxed, but somebody said something about math. Here are some solid numbers from their government.

After all UK fighting the same variant with the same vaccines as we are, and they're a lil farther in.

You're right. It's been more sensationalizing the unvaxxed that in my opinion y'all are doing.

But for the rest of your post, I refer u to that UK GOV chart you're ignoring.

Totals deaths: 257
---------------------
Fully vaxxed deaths: 118
Unvaxxed deaths: 92
Partially vaxxed deaths: 45

Now if we are talking only hospitalizations then yes the data shows the rate is exponentially higher for unvaxxed

But 257 deaths out of 170k+ cases is .1% TOTAL death rate

Just curious but are you going to apply the UK's rates to here in the US as a talking point?

No. Gonna check for info as it comes.

But as far as US July 25 death rate is .3%, current 7 day average is less than .5%

Not sure if they have anything broken down in charts like UK does yet

Those numbers don't really provide much relevant data without a comparison between exposure, contraction, hospitalization & death. Exposure is the hardest one to track for the vaccinated.

If I’m not mistaken, most of the discourse in this thread happens because someone posts a Tweet, story, or article either questioning the vaccine or outright going against it and others refute the claims or offer counter points.
