According to bank of america investors put more money into stocks the last five months than the previous 12 years combined. The same people contributed to that gotta be the same who are buying up crypto.
So when they pull out the market and flip into coins it's gotta move the needle.
Stocks do drop when inflation rises though. So while both contribute to the drop I really wonder how much of it is just from inflation only.
And since meme stocks got popular and ppl started getting stimulus checks it must've led to more overvalued hyped stocks which had to come back down to normal levels eventually. I wonder if it's all hitting at once.
