We were talking about this yesterday in the coronavirus thread... figured it should be it's own topic.
What are some good ways to invest when the markets are down. How can folks go about taking advantage of the situation?

lol any suggestions on some good buys while this dumpster fire is occurring?
@Sion does this for a living and is bout to stay on top of it and make a killing.
For regular people like us, just find a good index or mutual fund that tracks the dow and you should be good.
A vanguard fund is good for times like these.
Swppx is one I got a good amount of money in. shit been holding me down over the years.
Shit dropped close to 7% in the last 3 days. Good time to buy
Honestly fam everything across the board is taking a beating, banks, retailers, tech, oil, everything. Better off just buying an index fund tracking the stock market like the S&P 500. It's sooo much easier for you versus buying individual stocks.
My man read @AZTG's posts !!!
This is gonna keep markets down for a lil while. In terms of stock picking shit a lot of things are cheap across the board but will get a bit worse before they take off. I would recommend a low cost index fund like SWPPX because it tracks the S&P 500 and since you may not know what to buy this allows you to get the entire market and at the same time you probably won't lose nearly as much as others in the near term who may be trying to pick individual stocks not knowing where to look.
It's tons of ways to make money at this moment.
Simple and complex
Stocks and stockpiles.
Let me know when the thread us up
