The Coca-Cola plants are in Atlanta, so when #hashtags trend saying to boycott Coke...who do you think is impacted? 73% of Fulton county voted Blue in 2020, and they're the people employed by those businesses being boycotted.

Well the intent seems to be to piss people off enough that they blame the elected officials and vote them out as they're the reason behind the laws. It's that temporary sacrifice for a long term gain people often say they're down for until the reality actually hits and you realize what you're being asked to give up. I've long said that people often talk about or ask people to make sacrifices they themselves wouldn't make and it seems as this situation is a real life version of that very scenario.

People in cities like Atlanta did make sacrifices and got Biden elected though. Voted for him at a high clip and turned a red state to blue. I'll keep saying it, I don't see how people not from GA can come through there and start yelling for a boycott, while not thinking about who it will actually impact. Pissing off Kemp aint worth hurting families, or it shouldn't be. Red voters already want to primary Kemp so I'm not even sure this helps 2022 much.

So the end result of this they moved the All-Star game from the most prominent majority black city in the country, to 80% white Denver who has voter ID laws too. All that money pissed away. smh
