He's acknowledging that fans were looking for someone else. He even dropped two specific names that he knew fans were looking for.
 
I mean the speculation and theories is part of the fun of watching along. If you're not into that you might as well have waited til the whole show was out and just binged it at once.

I did like the Monica scene....I thought the cabin scene was dope too.... It didn't go the way anyone predicted but her taking the book to find a way to bring her kids and vision back definitely makes sense. Hopefully that leads to the big "no more mutants" moment we were looking for in the series.

I'd like to know how the new vision feels about Wanda now. He got outta there soon as he was awoken.

I still feel Hayward was a weak character. His motives were still weak. His logic was weak. He really was just there to push the plot. Too much doesn't make sense. But it kinda does when you recognize he just keeps the story going.

I don't wanna go too much in further than that, cuz I did like it.... But ultimately i was looking for something different

Pretty much nailed my thoughts. It wasn't everything I wanted, I hate the fake Pietro angle. Why use the same actor from the Fox films to just throw people off? In any case, I still enjoyed the finale.

I dont even think the skrulls know about her powers yet. I think Fury just got word of her coming back after the snap and that Hayward dude grounding her and keeping her from going to space and since Fury was coo with her moms and Captain Marvel he wanna holla at her

If you didn't watch Agents of shield that scene will be confusing. That book she has is ridiculously powerful and can rip doorways of reality. It also is a lot of evil shit in there she's basically going to fuck up trying to harness it thus creating chaos leading to Strange stepping in. He has no choice now. That book is the key to getting Blade, vampires, demons, lucifer, mephisto, ghosts, Ghostrider and hell dimensions, probably Nightmare as well, alllllllll kinds of supernatural fuckery is coming bruh!!!

Also,Fury most likely has Skrulls posted in different locations they've been here and I suspect will lead to a collision course when people find out and have a problem with this.

It would been ill if that is how Marvel will be introducing Blade to the scene.

You supposed to be sorcesor supreme and the whole prophesized scarlet witch was in a team with you the whole time and you didnt even notice.

She used a crazy powerful spell to take control over a whole town, and you ghost.
