This shit never fails and we as black people have continued to fail to learn from our past. For the last 4 years a lot of white people have been racist to every non-white group of people in this country. Now what happens is the news media who fanned those flames switches gears to take the pressure off their overt racist brethren and go back to criminalizing all black people with the so called "model minority" as the face of that criminalization.

It's wild to me that it hasn't been discussed that the asian broad interviewer in that abc segment said that just like black people have to have the talk with their kids about the police, asian people have to have the talk with their people about black people. That is a hell of a fucking jump to make that type of comparison. Then also mention how in NY in 2019 it was 3 reported assaults/hate crimes against asians and in 2020 the number went to 29 reports of assaults/hate crimes and these fucking people acting like whats going on is some type of asian hate crime wave.

The fact that some of this shit is even being entertained by black people is sad.

Some black people need to realize that we can't combat lies told about us as a people on the national news by having tweeting and instagram storms. Shit don't work that way.

I disagree with the bold. IMO it doesn't reflect badly on them because if they aren't marrying another asian seems to be the only other acceptable alternative is for them to marry a white man or woman.

I do agree that it seems like they will ignore white racism and bigotry to focus on other people. Comes off like white people have the right to be that way towards us but nobody else does.

Cosign this to some extent. It does often seem like the black people that scream the loudest about how they don't care what others think are also ones that bitch the loudest because others don't like us.

That said, shit like this is more serious than just people not liking us. Last year, blacks managed to get buy-in from damn near the whole world on the severity of our struggle. Shit like this only works to undermine that because it makes us come off as victimizers instead of victims.

I don’t care that they don’t like black people. The constant need to play devils advocate in their behalf is annoying.
