My point was that trash talking is part of the game, and if it goes too far a player does have the right to address and handle it. Just like you said sometimes trash talk can go too far it's hard to believe you then think that nobody could say some shit in the middle of a game that also has actual ill intent or malice behind it. Especially stuff with a racist angle to it. We all are aware of what calling a person who is Asian "coronavirus" entails. Trash talk typically revolves around the game itself and can be used vs multiple people. What part of basketball involves calling somebody coronavirus? Who else but an Asian person would that even be referencing? It's not just that it's an insult but it's one specific to Asian people.

Look at it from this perspective:

Let’s say you were from Nigeria and your family moved to America.

You get here and the BLACK people start treating you funny.

I mean, you expect white people to make fun of your hair, skin-tone, etc....

But you have other black folks clowning you about your appearance.

You would probably be more critical of FBA’ s than you would be of white people, because, like I said, you expect that type of treatment from whites...
Not your own people.

Now ask yourself.....Would you wanna be down with ALL Black Americans, no exceptions?

That looked like an American sitcom making Africans look goofy.

Regardless, GOATed, none the less.

If it was an African show, still it was just a dumb comedy... If anything, it made the Africans look bad.

Also, if you went to Africa, trust me, you would have preconceived notions about them and their culture/customs as well.

I can't speak on intent. Competition sometimes brings out the wrist in people, so yes it's possible that someone could have said something with real intent to hurt Lin's feelings. That person would be absolutely wrong. However, that's still missing the point.

Right now there seems to be an effort to scapegoat blacks for the racism Asians are facing and to suggest there is a growing problem with blacks abusing and attacking Asians. Two things can both be wrong and also not be the same. Some NBA players calling Lin Coronavirus on the court to get him off his game is not the same as someone out in the world calling an Asian Coronavirus in an effort to terrorize them.
 
I can say without a doubt niggas made fun of foreigners regardless if they were black white or whatever.

There's nothing inherent about that. Kinship, camaraderie and brotherhood are developed. Not automated. Not set in stone. Not invoked at first sight.

Which is where the short-sightedness of your shit for brains ideology makes itself fully apparent. It goes against the idea of developing camaraderie...

Here you have a population of immigrants and their offspring who on average are performing better than their native black American counterparts and instead of working with these ppl to solidify a communal stability in black affairs let's instead drive a wedge into it? Conflict ridden rhetoric only further stokes more division.

By what rationale does one complain about black immigrant malice then go to lengths not to repair the broken bridge but burn it to the ground instead.

The whole movement is an irrational joke. You meander in nationalism to your own demise.
