Best fries I ever had was by this woman who runs this little ma & pa family diner. They're still good even if they start getting cold. Crispy outside, soft inside. I couldn't take it anymore and asked htf she makes her fries cuz I make the best fries but apparently not. Lard. She fucking uses lard. No wonder they're so damn good.
I dunno if any Americans here heard of poutine but it's a French Canadian food made with fries, gravy and cheese curds mixed together. There's a west indian restaurant near me that makes a Jamaican poutine that's the same concept but with ox tail in it. It's dope.
