Tannehill wasn't terrible in MIA though. Definitely room to grow, but he wasn't bad. Haskins has looked bad.

It was lack of prep

and he is not an elite athlete to cover that up like a Mike Vick for example

Vick was just as immature but he was a generational athlete so it masked his deficiencies as an actual QB

Haskins has all the physical QB tools

Elite arm strength. Good to great accuracy. He just needs to learn how to prepare and study like a professional

and he has that oppurtunity with Pitt with little to no pressure

My issue is this means that Ben will not be held accountable for his fuckery. We have no one to come in and finish a game when Ben gets injured or is busy throwing ints. Nobody in that QB room can be trusted to win a game besides Ben and he is limited on what he can do. I expect the same results next year or worse bcuz we should have a tougher schedule. I rather have RGIII or another vet bcuz we can't be wasting this defense on a unproven project and that is exactly what Haskins is. We are gonna waste another year. Mark my words.

And just to counter your argument...we would still have that problem if we drafted a guy. Even as much as a sure thing is TLaw is supposed to be...you really dont know until he takes his first snaps.

Like I said earlier. Dwayne H has the physical QB tools. All the word on him is not that he “sucks” ie cant play...it was his immaturity and lack of preparation and study. It wasnt that he COULDNT learn the playbook...he justput in minimal effort to learn it.

As far as Ben as concerned...we not gonna be in shotgun 90% of the game and throwing 60 times. I fully expect a more balanced offense and we will not rely on Ben’s arm as much as we did this season. I know we getting a RB and OL with our first two picks unless one of those top QBs fall.

I honestly think Najee is our first pick if he there then its either Landon Dickerson or Creed Humphrey in the 2nd

Getting rid of Finctner was a strong indicator that the offense will look different next year.

It has to suck as an OC when you can't call the plays you want bcuz your qb can't throw certain routes and then get fired for it.
