:wtf11:

Ive never read such ether

Reading that was scary. I worked for Ancestry and I had a customer who had called in again because the previous agent was basically giving him the run around. He was having fun with his adult children and wanted to do the DNA test. So he does it and the daughter came up as a half sibling to the brother but didn’t come up on the father’s shared DNA matches at all.

He straight up told me to tell him exactly what this could mean and I had to break it down to tell him that his daughter wasn’t his. I think it was my longest call too in all my time working there, I spent about an hour and a half to 2 hours with this man. I cried with him too.

I’ve had people call in and their “parents” were both deceased but the test would show someone else as a father that they don’t even know and they can’t ask questions because bam...mother is dead.

It's crazy in all my years of saying "fuck doing this dna shit" I never even considered these kind of outcomes. I just don't want my dna in whiteys hands.
That shit like opening pandoras box tho.

Can't imagine knowing down to my dna my momma ain't shit and my dad not mine. That's that fucking ether.

Damn that's sad

I was surprised by my DNA results too lol
