Welcome To aBlackWeb

OUT NOW Cyberpunk 2077 (Phantom Liberty DLC)

this

it has a ton of people that just are there for scenery

i hate the fact that AI drives like it has a learners permit

the driving is stiff as hell too. Reminds me of Watchdogs

I've gotten hit 3x by cars. I legit didnt see them coming. The AI doesnt even stop to honk their horns at you. I tried running after one but i guess he was smart and mashed the gas on me.
From what y'all saying this not worth getting, I don't think I've seen any of you post something positive

its just not a complete game

from a devs perspective, i get it...and unfortunately, its becoming a standard practice to release unfinished games with the intention of patching the hell out of it later

as a consumer, it sucks. At this point, i dont even care about the marketing. I just wanted to play a good game and the potential is there and there are some very interesting game mechanics at play, but it just falls so short in many of the key areas where other open world games suceed. The "good" news is...and this is according to an article i read today about the witcher, is that this game is believed to follow the footsteps of it but you either have to be willing to wait after you've bought it for them to come to fruition OR just wait for the eventual price drop or some game of the year edition that will have all the patches and shit included.

The article chronicled all the patches that the witcher games (each) received over the life of the respective entries in the series. I didnt realize that as much as people loved Witcher 3, that it had a ton of shit that got patched post launch.

Like this not a huge thing per se, but how in tf, in an RPG game, in an open world where you can get all these augmentations in cyber genetics, but you cant change your characters appearance after you initially create them? So it loses a level of immersion. This is one of the biggest criticisms from a cosmetic standpoint, but gameplay wise, it needs a lot of tuning.

Depends on how much you're into the genre, since that would determine how much you're willing to ignore. Right now, I wouldn't recommend the game, unless they are really into the genre, since a lot of stuff needs to be patched in and tweaked. The current roadmap has a major patch scheduled for January and another in Feb. I'd wait until then if you're unsure. So far, the one saving grace for me has been the main story missions. The side missions to a lesser extent. I thought I was going to get lost exploring, but there's just a lot missing. There's a great in there, but it needs more polish. I can't help but think what the state of the game would have looked like if it came out when it was originally supposed to.

I fired it up tonight and spawned from my last save. I called my car but before it spawned, an AI driving just stopped unimpeded in the middle of the road which stopped my car from coming to me. I went to the car and the lady just looked at me and smiled

I pull her out, move her car up and hop in my car. I'm behind this purple car and something looks weird. I keep following and realized that the texture hadn't loaded and when it did, the car looked amazing visually but I ran into like the same kind of car, same color and all like 3x on my way to an objective and each time, the textures loading was very noticeable

This isn't a spoiler, but one of the early side missions when you go to the lil fight clubs and you fight the twins. My shit was buggy af. They was acting like they popped some x or something. The head on one was turned in the direction where I was standing but the body was in the opposite direction and the other twin arms kept swinging back and forth like he was on a swing or something.

Now I lost to them 2x in a row, losing 4k in the process but the 3rd time, since it was so buggy, I kicked their asses without breaking a sweat.

So for the ones that have the game will yall start over once all the bugs and glitches get worked out?

Yes.

Cause some of these missions flatout bug out for me.

Cant complete some cause of the route I took to achieve an objective... Like the saul rescue...

Felt punished for being observant.

Damn I'm glad I didn't have the bread to get the game now. It's amazing the level of shit wrong with it this was ever scheduled to drop this year. You shouldn't even do promo for a game this large spanning this many consoles until you're for real for real 3 months from finishing it. Texture pop in is one thing to push out the door but game breakers will get you blacklisted. I haven't bought an Assassins Creed since 2 because on two separate playthroughs of 3 it ghosted 2 10+ hour saves. No explanation. No response from Ubisoft. Nothing.

Shit went back to Gamestop. Oddly, got the bootleg on PC and beat it without issue.

nawl. I'll finish my playthrough and put it down until DLC come out. I actually like to Roleplay my characters which was the main reason I was hyped for this. Had a character for each life path designed and picked out and everything. They could add a lot to the game to give me what I want but till then its a one and done. gonna get my money out of it and let them rebuild rapport.

My cousin got this on PC. He said even in its best state the game isn’t a must have unless you’re a fan of the genre.
Never played a universal RPG before. couldn't name one if I tried. Although they did kinda fail at both open world and RPG elements. shit bare bones as hell.

I wouldnt even call this an RPG, there is really no way to play in a specific role outside of what you do to take care of enemies. The convo choices make no difference, and the mission choices have minimal effect outside of how it might end.

You can chose no mad, corporate, or street kid and the only time anything specific happens with is up into you meet Jackie. Then its basically the same, you end up with the same car, same apartment, etc.

So 25 hours in with no major bugs encountered, my luck seems to have run out. No matter what I've tried, I can't equip any of my weapons. I can't even use my damn hands.

Also, apparently I did something to Trauma team because they attack on sight.

So far, the only "fix" is to go back to a save like 5 hours ago...

Edit: So the fix is entering any cutscene...and the easiest and fastest way of doing it is to go to an in game prostitute. So yeah...
