There ain't no hood in Canada.
Besides Montreal-Nord, Saint-Michel Et Pie-X (pronounced PeE-Neouf) , who are basically the Haitian ghettos of Montreal. And the Little Burgundy/Petite-Bourgogne, who used to be Montreal's first black Canadian ghetto and one of the oldest in Canada, besides having being pretty much our local Silver Age era Harlem who made of Montreal a North American cultural metropole, back to the Golden Age of jazz and blues music.
And middle class Italian ghettos. And Arab ghettos. And about a quarter of Laval. And Westmount. And lower class white ghettos. And Jewish ghettos. And Punjabi hoods at Vancouver. And plenty of Chinatowns. And Winnipeg. And a few couple of gay boroughs. And the reserves. Well... ?

Not gonna lie, It's a pretty big responsibility but I'm sure you could handle it.. Especially if you put in the same amount of time and effort that you've put into overlooking things on the internet over the years.
Not only do you have experience from leading a Welcoming Commitee on another forum but you also got experience from being on ABWs Oversight Committee too. I mean that shit gotta count for something, right?
If you can make a difference online I'm sure you can make one offline too. All you gotta do is try really, really hard.
