I left and came back then started getting involved with my community pretty much. it aint like Im trapped here or some shit..

Not to mention I can go post up anywhere i want over here cause niggas know and respect me, even the lil disrespectful ones that don't got respect for shit respect me.

i'm good in the hood so nah, I aint got no plans of leaving any time soon.

I got some property that my pops left me outside of here but I dont got any plans for it.. I feel like If I ever do move from here its gonna be an out of state move

You answered this shit seriously huh

Grandfather bought this house in the 60's
Moms bought it from her siblings in the 90's
I bought it from her like 6 years ago

We also got land in VA..... The taxes on it cheap, and we eventually gonna go down there. But I like living in the neighborhood I grew up in.

Both the corner stores black owned now. We still have crime, but I know everybody out there and very rarely feel unsafe. It's a very familiar neighborhood. All the families that are home owners have pretty much been here forever, and still have that village mentality. My kids feel comfortable over their houses, shit be chill as fuck.

I mean it definitely has its issues... But I'm not pressed to be around a bunch of country ass white people. I like living in the city

I'm working with the county commissioner to bring a community center here.

It's been in the works for a while now and things have been very stop and go but its looking like we might finally have everything set by the beginning of 2021.

There's a lot of people here who don't have access to the internet unfortunately and then there are those who are computer illiterate and this is where I come in.

It really pains me to see the older generations that came before us going out the way that they are man. Especially whenever they have kids and grandkids who are tech-savvy but won't take the time out to show them how to operate a computer or a smart phone.. That really bothers me.

I get several calls throughout the week and usually have to stop what I'm doing in order to assist some of these folks with the simplest of task. I mean I don't mind but I really want to teach them. So once this community center goes up i'll be running it and im hoping to offer some courses on the basics of computers, smartphone operation, etc.
