Phone Thread

Not to mention Pixel 2 is one of the only phones run pure Android without bloatware. Hate bloatware.

BTW, Best Buy is running a deal on Samsung phones. Instant $200 off Note 8 and S8 and S8+. Great deal!

My phone timely started to act up the day before yesterday for the first time, ever. About time! I have been aching to upgrade.

Eat: just happened again. A friend is texting me telling me she has been trying to call me all morning but the phone didn't ring, at all. Yikes! Not good! Will get a new one tonight!

im not sure how it does if you get it through a carrier as far as bloatware, but if you said money is no object, then yea, just get it directly from google

Cricket Wireless, the MVNO owned by AT&T, tends to change its pricing tiers from time to time. Back in May, the company increased the amount of high-speed data on its $40/month plan from 3GB to 4GB. Starting November 5, new changes will go into affect for its $30/mo and $40/mo tiers.

The company's $30/mo tier will be increased from 1GB of data to 2GB, while the $40/mo plan will jump from 4GB to 5GB. Once customers go over the limit, the speed will drop to a painfully-slow 128Kbps. Both of those plans include unlimited calling and texting inside the United States.

Unfortunately, some of the carrier's add-ons are still not permitted with the the $30 and $40 plans. International service and tethering is still limited to the 8GB and Unlimited tiers.

Well, Parallax got a great deal through work on a new iPhone but he didn't like it that much so he gave it to me so now I have a space grey iPhone 8 plus. I love the phone, a lot, but I also really wanted Rose Gold. Lol oh well.

Parallax is still looking to replace his old phone, preferably with a new android. He doesn't like Samsung though and he is looking at lesser known brands.

The reason he does not like Samsung is the the screen aspects of new Samsung phones. Some are like 18:9, way to narrow. 16:9 is the narrowest he would consider.

thats cool

i just need to know some possible must haves, price, and if he wants a contract or unlocked
