Police execute Breonna Taylor in her own home

In the death of George Floyd I do think that, at the very least, the one who sat on his neck will face conviction but I don’t know to what degree...

but in both cases of George and Breonna laws were passed to prevent these types of nonsense to happen again... so there are policies being implemented

but those laws were passed from ppl taking to the streets and not from politicians feeling morally obligated to protect american citizens

uprisings always bring forth some form of change, thats why they are necessary when speaking to the dominate power structure

True.. so from that perspective, I agree w your post. It just goes to show that they don’t care but that the people have the power to force their hand to change policy... this seems to always be the case throughout history

yes! yes! yes!

the power will always be in the hands of ppl

This country needs to have a discussion about grand juries being unnecessary at some point.

If you're an attorney general and a case comes before you, you know whether or not you have evidence to charge someone or not. To entrust that responsibilty to regular citizens with no legal background is fuckin stupid and a cop out.
