But it really is. You can't force someone to not clown you. That's the point. People hide behind online aliases and avatars. You want real-life respect from an online forum. Not gonna happen. Understand that and you can avoid getting in your feelings. Some of you are too easily triggered.
Some peeps enjoy watching the world burn. A troll is what they are called online. A heckler is what they are called at sporting events and other gatherings. This is no different.
Learn to laugh at yourself first and your life will be so much better instead of letting some random online poster get to you in real life.
I was thinking of your other post about after a certain amount of strikes a mod will be reduced to jr mod and then ultimately removed. If that's not what this is then I apologize.
I'm cool with putting out site wide alerts anytime a member is banned. Same with a mod altering a member's acct without his/her permission.
As far as mass alerts being sent out when posts are edited, that's not likely. There's too many spammers in the candy shop alone to keep up with that.

People rarely get banned on here, that shit chicity pulled yesterday rarely happens and that shit lasted for a whole 60 secs.

Homie, we have contests where people post selfies in their profile pic to win money. There's a thread for pictures and a thread for posters to post their kids.
No poster gives a fuck about getting roasted, but kids always been off lines.
You late to the party, but must of us have come from more hostile online communities... And thrived well there. Tough skin isn't the issue here. The issue here is a healthy posting environment.
People want to feel safe posting here, and the people are questioning the moderators ability to provide that environment without forcing their personal biases on posters without reason.

You didn't read that post properly either cause I didn't suggest they get removed since you had already taken that off the table I suggested the powers they abuse and ultimately get their privileges suspended be removed if it even gets that far.
Again I didn't ask for a mass alert to be sent out when a post gets edited I'm certain a mod can leave "post edited by..." in a post. I asked that when someone gets banned a site wide alert goes out telling us which mod has banned a user.
If they alter an account only the user of that account should be alerted.

I don't think sitewide alerts are needed because a bunch of people don't even go to other parts of the site so they really don't care. Maybe just post in the thread and say why it happened and move on. If someone asks more questions then answer them. If it's too many questions or too personal then take it outside the thread and PM them
