Verzuz: Scott Storch vs Mannie Fresh

I wonder what Wayne said on those records Lol. smh. funny to even know cuz Wayne would have his studio sessions next door to the room Baby and his team would be recording.

He got an album with Mos Def. That was random af. And he wants to do whole albums for Wayne and J. Elect.

Man this shit needs to happen

If it ain't Blackstar/BOBS Mos Def, Mannie need to take his shit back like.....

He cleared the "Get it Ready" beat, he cleared that, which is at the beginning of the song.

My point, me being funny, was to say, that he could have used that song in the battle, his beat starts off the song, when the Get it Ready beat comes on at the beginning of the song, that's when the women get up to dance Lol

Using that song in his battle, like SS used songs just because he turned on the sound board, would have been stupid
Ahhh

You right lol

One of the biggest questions for me that got answered was why didn't he work with other artists

His answer, was kinda sad

Basically niggas just assumed he didn't wanna work with outside people and they thought baby wouldn't allow it

Instead of asking that man, they just assumed

And Manny come off like the type of dude who gonna beg people to work with him.

Yeah that was something I always pondered. Damn that’s some wild what if shit.

I sorta get the beginning of CMR until about 2003 because that was when rap was really cliqued up. A lot of people was reluctant to reach out then.

But after that point especially I wondered why Mannie didn’t work with more people. Always felt like Cam would’ve been a natural connection.

Good to see some some light shed on that

They spend maybe 5 min of a 30 min interview talking about the shit, but, go ahead pleighboi
I dont wanna hear 25 mins about whatever else Mannie gots to say

I'm not a big enough fan

Tbh, if I never heard another Scott Storch production, I'd live life cool. But oh well.

Maybe a better match up would've been Master Percy (Don't really know his production catalog) or Lil Jon.
