Verzuz: Scott Storch vs Mannie Fresh

listened to a minute or so and Mannie sayin' "I played songs that were movements and he played songs that were in the moment"

Bruh just lol, admit defeat and say you didn't take it serious and it's not a thing
Why don't you listen to the whole interview before you comment

Same shit I be saying in here.

The nigga put up Cry Me a River and it wasn't his song nor was Mary J's Family Affair or Let me Blown your Mind etc

I remember when that song came out, Mary, and Dre they was saying that it was a Dr Dre beat..

It's true I should.

Does say he lost tho' or are you gonna make me listen to it and its exactly as I assumed it is
He says if the world thinks he lost, then he's ok with that but he understood the battle to be one thing

It was a really good interview though. If you get time from trolling, I suggest you listen to it in full

Ctg asked him all the questions I've wondered over the years and even answered why he didn't play certain songs in the battle

Yeah this interview could have been an 1 hr long session easily but I get it due to the circumstances. Plus CTG is a fan of him so I know he had more questions to ask him.

Dude has 600 published, what other producer has songs published in Hip Hop

Dude has too many in the clip

He should have played the Beyoncé song smh...Cuz he did the beginning of that song.. see how dumb that sounds

Before I let go, one of the biggest songs

SS had 2 or 3 solid songs, Fresh been doing these battles before this shit happened, he knew the rules to this and he even knew SS didn't do some of those songs before going into the battle LOL

One of the biggest questions for me that got answered was why didn't he work with other artists

His answer, was kinda sad

Basically niggas just assumed he didn't wanna work with outside people and they thought baby wouldn't allow it

Instead of asking that man, they just assumed

And Manny come off like the type of dude who gonna beg people to work with him.

He got an album with Mos Def. That was random af. And he wants to do whole albums for Wayne and J. Elect.

Man this shit needs to happen

He didn't do the song by himself

He cleared some shit to be used in the song and I think is credited with having worked on the song

The dude that made that "look alive" beat did it

He cleared the "Get it Ready" beat, he cleared that, which is at the beginning of the song.

My point, me being funny, was to say, that he could have used that song in the battle, his beat starts off the song, when the Get it Ready beat comes on at the beginning of the song, that's when the women get up to dance Lol

Using that song in his battle, like SS used songs just because he turned on the sound board, would have been stupid

His production credits on Funeral and Carter V warrant me wanting to see a Wayne album once again being entirely produced by Mannie
