Rolex or Rental Property?

If we were hypothetically looking at the same property, I'd rejoice in him picking a rolex.
Not everyone is savvy in business, for better or worst.
Meaning less competition for those that are.
One less person to compete with.

You're probably right, but a rolex is still a rolex. people know what a rolex is, they might not know what a patek is or an audemar.

The watch is short sighted, but if dude dies in a year which one would he have got more enjoyment out of? I'm going for the property if it's me, but shit the rolex isn't that bad of a choice. it's like choosing between Nia Long and Lisa Bonet. One might be a better choice, but shit I can't blame you for taking the other.

what type of rolex was it.

if it aint a weekend type watch......take the property.

but if its a everyday type watch......might have to watch himself when wearing it.

I’m taking Nia Long over Lisa Bonet any day..
Lisa Bonet not ugly but I never really understood the appeal about her..
 
Seem like the Rolex comment was just an offhand remark he made to express his disappointment, “you coulda got me a chain, a Rolex, etc” instead. Idk why people are taking it so literally or acting like she offered him a choice.
