Basically said if Joe keeps playing with him he’s going in. Shortly after joe was mocking him for saying he’s ems friend.

noticed he also leaves joe out when he’s been shouting out slaughterhouse members.

also seems to imply that there’s issues between a lot of shady 2.0 artists

Besides Joe and Yela I wonder if it's anything with anynody else in that pic?

All of those are moot points after Eminem disses you MULTIPLE times on record. You dared the nigga to come out to play, this nigga Eminem is on the See-Saw CHILLIN. Even your ex group member is pulling your card on record. 2020 Joe is mad pussy.
What did Slaughterhouse say about Joe?

Whilst I agree. He’s burned a lot of bridges in his career, I think he has started to withhold his true opinion since getting backing for his podcast, he seems to tread a little light which could backfire cus a lot of people respected him for bringing opinions people didn’t wanna hear.

I guess the masses would consume a safer joe tho.

Well their album would have been released if it wasn’t for joe, they were all happy with the product bar joe. Could of ate well off that, I thought joe and Joell were tight but I ain’t heard either of them mention one another or joe invite him to the podcast like he did Royce.

Nah there were issues.Too many managers,Label making them use certain producers ,holding on to music and not dropping it.SH dropped a few mixtapes while Interscope/shady was fucking around. That last album with Just Blaze on it got shelved. It is done.

I know Joe spoke on Joell's last album and it didn't seem to be an issue.

All I'm saying is that Em is satirical and like most satire it presents a serious topic in an extreme overblown way that is humorous ,usually in a dark way because it's exploring the ridiculousness of the topic.

It's like a movie that's about space aliens, but it's really about the fear of foreigners .

Em has always showed the underbelly of society through cartoonish over the top imagery.

Just read a few post an lol..

Because i saw a photo on twitter showing the Space Force uniform.. then i posted GTA republican space invaders in replay followed it up with a video of The Spoof show on GTA and thats exactly what it was..

Its the Universe im not even going to listen to the album but it brought me here to this post..

:wtff:

Joe is talking about the issue on the new pod again.

They seem to like the album.

And Joe might be a little shook of battling Em,but he's capable and would do it,but I feel Joe as far as falling back because he wasn't getting paid what he should have been worth with his talent and history in music in the music game.

Joe knows that him taking on Em will only be bad for him win or lose.

He won't profit and it'll look like the Drake situation.

lol Joe got dissed by mad folks over the past two years and he aint dust off the pen. Y'all thought Em calling him Trader/Traitor Joe was gonna be the bar that did it? lol

If anything I think it would be Crook saying something disrespectful to get dude to seriously consider a proper non-podcast response

Skimmed through this whole thread and ain't nobody talking about the bars

If y'all against talk and reparation then I'm not against the thought of separation
While the politicians that are white and privileged ask how is this different from segregation, that's funny bro
The segregation is bein' told where I'm gonna go
Separation is bein' woke and goin' wherever I wanna go

Royce>>>> Em

I dropped lyrics but nobody gave a fuck and Kept arguing

I can't say Royce is an overall better artist than Em,but he's no doubt right there with Em pen wise.

Royce is without a doubt better overall. Makes better music... more relatable music as well.

If he had the backing and machine behind him like Em did/does... shiiiiiiiiieeeet

I don't agree.

I love Royce, but Royce is just now learning how to go into different pockets and use melodies.

When I say overall I mean song writing and structure.Hooks etc

While Royce was making fairly typical underground lyrical rap in the early 2000's, Em had mastered hooks and styles.

it gave Em's songs a more theatrical appeal.

Royce wasn't making audio movies like I Am,Stan.Cleaning Out My Closet,Guilty Conscious etc at that time.

but for the last decade,in this Bar Exam era,Royce has been a beast and got much better at making songs come to life.

Em won as a lyricist, not just because he raps good, but because he found away to make lyricism catchy.

He found a way to do what ppl like Ras Kass and Canibus couldn't figure out or didn't have the skill set to do or didn't want to do.

Maybe it's just personal taste then cuz I cant stand Eminems "melodies" or hooks for the most part lol

I get that, but those little hooks and bridges that may annoy you sometimes makes for a more musical experience .

I enjoy bare knuckle hardcore hip hop as much as anybody.but to make a complete song that will be pleasing to most fans, it needs to be more than a hard beat and 3 16's.

True...and fair enough... but if we're looking at progression and growth between Eminem and Royce...

Em hasn't grown much artistically in years imo... while Royce has been continually trending upwards with the shit he is capable of.

Eminem stalled out years ago.... Royce is still rising

No. That wasn’t my question at all. I didn’t say anything about relevance or ask why certain rappers aren’t discussed.

I believe it was you earlier who said something about Eminem and his music maturing. You even made up 2 lil metaphors.

so yeah, back to redman.Redman is heralded highly in a lot of people’s top whatever rappers list. Eminem even lists him as his number 1. When Redman gets mentioned or drops anything, nobody speaks about how his content never matured. He’s still the same Redman. That’s what people want. No one says shit. You can go in the thread for his ep right now.

That's what you asked. Maybe it's not what you meant. You said no one comes at him for his music not maturing, despite his last 4 albums being questionable. Then you said why is this?

I told you the reason it's because he's not relevant and most people don't hear his music. The less people that hear music, the less critics it'll have.

You made it sound like you thought eminem was being held to a different standard, and that's why you see more eminem criticism. I'm just saying I think it has more to do with Redman being heard way less. Jay's music has matured, and he's criticized more than Redman too.

Depends on what you mean by stalled out

Pen wise Em is always getting better to me or trying to at least on his better post Eminem show albums.

he only gets more clever and witty with time, but his songs aren't as catchy and easily digested like that were .

Where did Em really need to grow to when he reached like the top level of lyricism, commercialism, and creativity on his second album?

Em's first album was classic too,but MMLP was some whole other shit.

That's when he really mastered song writing with crazy styles like I am and Kill You that were far more original than the flows on SSLP

Em's biggest issue isn't even music related.Nigga is an addict and it slowed down that machine around 2004.

After that he hasn't been as public and Interscope and the game was changing.

Our ears for music totally changed by 2006 as a whole.
