So we gotta show examples of random beating his wife or talking crazy to her? Because you want an example of systematic oppression right? This happens often and every example gets broken down on a individual basis. If the Gloria Steinem thing came about in the late 70s and the we got rappers saying bitches ain’t shit but hoes in tricks by the 80s is that somebody else fault?

It’s the image we made and let it be put out there right? And outsiders ran with it.

So if we don’t have the influence to systematically oppress in our community are you saying we don’t have any power in the community

Yall keep trying to turn people problems into black men problems. Thats disturbing.

Like I have said before, you had/have the aint shit niggas and you had/have the women who chose to be with them. Thats why its asinine to keep harping black men this black men that.

You niggas want everybody to keep up the black men aint shit mantra thats been shouted from the mountain tops for at least the past 40 years. A lot of that I believe stems from unhealed wounds from fartherless homes and bitter woman traits being passed down.

We have acknowledged the mistakes of those men for decades (while ignoring the same for the past generations of women) , and seeing how recent studies show black men are more involved in their childrens lives than any other race means we are trying to correct their mistakes. Despite the fact that it wasnt out fault.

But naw, you niggas want me to perform another snap and go back to fix. Well the stones all used up right now niggas, its time to move forward.

But look we talking about how what we do impacts us tho right. I’m not saying we don’t have people trying to correct the issues but it a lot that ain’t even hearing it. It’s backlash

Exactly. They say the same thing as well and they are right. What we are doing is blaming each other for the mistakes of our parent and grandparents generations. We take those unhealed wounds and project that pain onto each other.

If we stop and look around, we are the 80s and 90s babies who came from poverty stricken crack infested war zones. And we have managed to do some amazing shit. But we have to continue moving forward and elimante the kind of ignorance loni talking.

That will take a team effort to rectify.
