I had a Beastie Boys/Run DMC poster on my wall back in 1987 when I was 13 years old.

I'm not saying the Beastie Boys are GOAT Mcs, but I don't think Eminem is a GOAT Mc either.

But the fact remains that the Beastie Boys made dope, alternative Hip Hop. Yeah it didn't sound quite like Eric B & Rakim or Dre & Snoop but their discography is waaaaay better than Eminem's imo.


The Beastie Boys albums actually stand the test of time.

I didn't it say it grew cuz of 8 mile. I said 8 mile shined a light on battle rap because its a mainstream movie obviously
