Lol @ not celebrating but making it a special day to throw bbq on the grill and blow fireworks..the way I look at is if you taking part in the usual festivities your ass pretty much celebrating in some fashion. Same shit different year....

Hopefully wifey makes some brown stew chicken and rice and peas and handle Monday per usual.

BBQ every other day at our house. We have family get togethers just bcuz we are family. No need to do it for this "special occasion". Lol @ the thought of telling my mama's grandmother that we are gonna celebrate the day 'merica became free. My kids think fireworks are a waste of money and stupid anyway.
