Sure other people are struggling but he undermining the writers efforts by doing it.

The whole point of the strike is to apply pressure to the studios and corporations. If he wanted to get his shit off he coulda did an unscripted pod or show on youtube, patreon, twitter, twitch whatever and used the same audio folks, camera people etc that he claims to be trying to put back to work OUTSIDE of the studio shit.

Dude want it both ways. Dah well

Bill Maher already has a podcast I believe. Either way, alot of these celebrities need to do what Brie Larson did during the Pandemic and start a youtube channel

That's the thing. The writers are screwing a lot of people, and expect everyone to back them. Even when Maher or Barrymore do things by the book, they still call them scab. All the crew who are struggling don't mean anything to the WGA heads. They should have took that deal

How you figure they screwing anyone over? They bargaining for what they think their work is worth. If production stop it stops.

once there is an agreement made it strengthens the workers overall. Shiiet if anything maybe other folks should take this opportunity to do some collective bargaining in their respective fields as well. With the writers and actors both striking.. how much more powerful would it be if the directors, audio folks, cinematographers did as well all at the same time.

Studios would bleed until they were forced to make some sort of deal to get productions back going

Mfs got bills and their situation isn't going to change for the better when this is over.

Their fight should include everyone they're asking to take one for the team if you ask me but that's a useless debate.

Agreed. What's stopping those who theyre asking to take one for the team from doing the same thing and fighting to get what they think they deserve as well?

It's not just easy as up and doing the same thing.

The companies actors fought against decades ago work to make sure other groups don't do the same thing. I doubt the reason they haven't done the same is indifference.
