Ive only drank wine once in my life. It was boxed wine and i was 15 at a party. We had ran out of booze and only had that shit left so we took the bag out of the box and put it in our armpit and pressed and chugged to see who could drink it for the longest amount of time.

Usually good wine has a pretty high alcohol content compared to most beers. So if you down a bottle it can get you fucked up.
Wine and beer can be great compliments with food pairings which is one of the reasons I love both so much. The other reason I love wine and beer is the innovation behind trying to create different flavors. It's very similar to cooking in that regard and that's what makes all of them cool. It's the fact that slight changes like age, region of the ingredients, combinations of ingredients can create totally different flavor palettes.
