Woman Gets Hit With A Brick After Not Giving Guy Her Number: Update, turns herself in to police after story was found to be not true

What constitutes social media in her verdict?

You could say forums are social media. I think any online interaction with people would be considered social media
She got 10 years probation so probably anytime she checks in with her PO their probably going to check her phone and any other devices to check her history. Forums are probably apart of her ban most likely.

And I can 100% see her trying to get around this social media ban, getting caught, and winding up doing that 10 year bid. She seems to thrive on social media attention, so for her this shit will be like sticking a jumbo, razor, pipe, and a lighter in a room with a crackhead and saying "don't smoke this shit or else..."
But...but, if she actually stays off social media....shit could drive her to be a productive member of society.

Then after that
I expect more social media bans in future sentencings
These youngins will be shittin bricks at the thought of not being able to get gratification and embarrass themselves online anymore

And, finally, a credible news article on it, not that Daphne hasn't been on the up-and-up, but I kinda wanted to see this reported on before believing the whole 10 years without social media thing.

HOUSTON – A woman who went viral in 2023 after claiming that a man threw a brick at her head when she wouldn’t give him her number, then raised more than $42,000 through a GoFundMe page, has been found guilty of theft by a Harris County jury.

Roda Osman, 35, had to be told to calm down several times after the jury returned the guilty verdict following about two and a half hours of deliberations.

After the jury convicted Osman, Harris County District Court Judge Dan Simons sentenced her to 10 years of probation. If conditions get violated, Osman could serve a 10-year prison sentence.

As conditions of probation, Osman will have to serve 90 days in jail and undergo inpatient substance abuse treatment, Houston said. Osman will also have to pay full restitution of $42,302.

The judge also ordered her to not use social media for the 10-year period.
