Fiesta remix ain't going nowhere for me. But yea, openly praising Kelly is over to the public. You ain't gon see other artists or networks showing dude love
saw some doc where it said R Kelly was fucking her mom in another room while she was sleep in another room...but he gets all the blame..Think of all the people who continued to work with him..... Even after they found out about Aaliyah.
It’s always funny to me when I hear people say they’ll never listen to R. Kelly again to the point they won’t even mention his name, but then turn right around and say how much they love Marvin Gaye.
A lot of the canceling of R. Kelly I think is performative and it’s still a lot of closet fans. Anyone I’ve asked in real life says they still listen to him.
How tarnished though? Would a song like I believe I can fly get any play? Could another artist even cover a Kelly song? or even mention that he inspired them?
Moved his shit in case he gets sued and losesi dont think that nigga broke i think put his money somewhere else
ehh I don't think it's the same. MJ wasn't as sexual in his music as R Kelly was, and it technically hasn't been proven that he did anything wrong. Can't say the same for Mr "I'm fighting for my life!"I put him in the same category as MJ.
Folks condone their actions...but let one of their songs drop during a party. Folks are still gonna get their boogey on.

I'm talking specifically about his legacy and not whether or not he'll ever be relevant again or have another hit.
So do y'all think people will ever be able to look back at his classics and appreciate them? or are they forever tarnished?

I separate the artist from the person because it's just entertainment at the end of the day.
I still think MJ is guilty af but I loooooove his music and will still buss a moonwalk and do the dance to Thriller.
