Muhfuckas HATE Oprah now. And rightfully so. She threw hip-hop under the bus at that town hall back in ‘06, and the black community been on her ass (with Gayle King) ever since.

Now, Jordan….well, just go to the Last Dance Thread, and you see why I changed that.

I see what you're saying, but it's different. Everybody knows Jordan is an asshole and has a bunch of flawed qualities. We tend to look past that because of how good he was on the basketball court and because of us really like his shoes.

Oprah was different. I would hear people talking about her as if just having 15 mins in her presence would make you a millionaire. Her shine has faded a bit, but at the height of it a lot of black people would look at you crazy if you didn't Oprah was the end all and be all.
