U can like both Drake type music and Kendrick type music. I got more Drake music in my Spotify than Kendrick. But I can appreciate and take in music and art that makes me think or challenges my thinking.

Balance is key imo.

White folks saying they wanted Brittany or Aerosmith is the same as Black folks saying swimming pools should have been played or more of his earlier tracks which imo he didn't have enough time to really lay out his catalog properly....hints a tour.

You can't satisfy everyone.

Kendrick I think purposely didn't do certain things. He is very intentional and I think art or music is sometimes about understanding where the art is coming from, what is the author telling me.
