U can argue he owned the rights to the music so he could put it out if he chose to which he did

Bro threw his career away thinking niggas was gonna have his back once them tapes leaked and learned a valuable lesson

The majority drowned out the minority. You forget that at least 70% of Em's fanbase are angry racist white boys that grew up and became Trump supporters. I feel like Em lost a lot of genuine Black support after those tapes, it just wasn't enough to damage his brand. As a fan of Em to this day, them tapes never sat right with me. His lawsuit is actually worse because for one, Benzino actually had ownership of the music therefore legal grounds to release it and for two, Em never took accountability aside from that half assed apology on Yellow Brick Road.
