Drake isn't mad about payola. They've done that for him too. He's mad that the label 'supposedly' chose Kendrick's side in the beef. He believes Not Like Us only got as big as it did because UMG pushed it, and that they did that to undercut his leverage for contract negotiations.
Again, that shit makes no sense because even in the midst of the Not Like Us hype, Drake was still the most popular streaming Hip Hop artist. People need to stop acting like these lawsuit are anything other than Drake being spiteful because he lost a beef.

Cognitive dissonance. If Kendrick personally leaked an unreleased Drake track and then Drake sued I don't think anyone complains. These two things are not alike.

Drake is suing Kendrick because he got beat in a rap battle. Eminem sued Benzino because he was trying to use an old recording to defame him. They are different, though you could argue that both were bitch moves. Em should have held the L for that recording and apologized not take it court. That set he could certainly make a better case that Benzino was actively trying to hurt his career than Drake can make about Kendrick.

Also, Drake is suing over a song that Kendrick made to end their rap battle. Eminem didn't sue Benzino over a diss track. He sued Benzino for exposing past misdeeds with the expressed intention of hurting his career.
We agree that suing was bitch move in both cases, but scenarios are very different.
