You're trying to paint all Black Americans with a broad brush and put us all under one umbrella as if we can only be one way or share the same experiences. I'm sure half of the niggas on this site have spent the majority of their lives in one region. There is no singular Black American experience that you're trying to accuse Drake of appropriating.

I am not talking about experience. I am talking about cultural legacy and social capital.

I am talking money, status and power.

Our own country don't let immigrants hold the highest office in the land.

But we should let immigrants and foreigners inherit the greatest legacy and country on Earth because of how they look?

I care about power, that's the only thing that is real and groups of people create culture to create and protect power.

A membership to a group of people is about stakes and investment.

If I been in the USA, all my life, got family members buried here, got ancestors buried here, lived amongst Black Americans.

Why I would equate myself to a global transient Black person like Drake, Obama Issae Rae and Kamala Harris?

Going from place to place, adopting different identies and social roles, where I've been a nigga all my life.

Would you accept a woman as your wife that went from dick to dick, changing herself according to the dick she was bouncing on?

So why I would accept a motherfucker into membership of the greatest people to ever exist that never been consistent in who they are?

Native born Black Americans swallowed immigrant propaganda.

Niggas out here really gonna discount their 400 plus years and counting for people that just got here 20 years ago and came by plane.

Or even worse, motherfuckers that are not even citizens and had to be taught how to say nigga the right way to avoid being jumped.

He was going over his rhymes schemes, breaking down and analyzing lyrics. It was a good video if you are really into music and hiphop.

ight soo....in me going to look for that video to post, i happened to see his full drake review from that twitter clip. That video is a day old and currently has 343k views. This beef really has a lot of people eating good. That by far his biggest videos and def got him new subscribers

Kendrick just needs to pull a Nas and claim victory with a "I was Sarface Jay was Manolo, it hurt me when I had to kill him and his whole squad for dolo" type line and put a bow on it.

No need to keep going. It cant get any better than this for him. All he can do now is maintain his victory or make it worse. No point to keep it going.

His has enough rappity rap songs to make two albums worth of that. He has enough dance hall type songs to make a whole album of that. he has enough R&B songs to make multiple albums off of that.

I think the problem that people have is that they don't like that he's multitalented and they want him to do one thing at a time but the nigga has shown that he has the ability to hit multiple lanes at a high level at once.

I used to be one of them niggas that skipped all of the singing songs until I started understanding his talent as an artist. Plus when you factor in his musical upbringing ad influence it makes sense that his sound would be as diverse as it is. The nigga is mad talented and because one of the areas where he's most talented is rap, a lot of hip hop heads, purist, are going to feel some type of way about that. It's usually a hater way lolololololol but people are entitled to their own opinion.

If Drake rapped at the level he was rapping on Family Matters for a full album that would be fire. I don’t think anyone can deny his talent, but the way he moves I can barely rock with it. Plus in all honesty that singing shit ain’t impressive or unique like it was when he first came out. Half these niggas think they can sing now lol.
