These niggaz rep for white America.

I bounced all thru the 2000's Wayne dominated the clubs and black radio.

Em dominated the MTV pop crowd. College kids who thought em made them down.

That shit wasn't bumping like that with our people. If you voting Em you hung out with white kids. Clearly.

Cuz I was out there during this time. Wayne was the biggest and it wasn't even close.

Wayne was doing shows at clubs in every city. Chicks was going nuts.

I ain't never once heard them say Eminem was going to be at a club doing a show like the whole time he was on. Maybe in Detroit. But that nigga wasn't circulating the black club market. So the only exposure y'all was getting to em was to go above and beyond your environment.

Either on the internet, or hanging with white boys.

Em wasn't bumping in the hood

But what has any of this got to do with who was the BETTER RAPPER

Right, I listened to all these shits.

Baffles me every time I go thru Wayne's stuff. There's just nothin' GOAT about his raps at all. Or about his music. I remember when Money on my Mind came out, I thought it was super trash. And still do.

None of these songs can match Em's verses in Renegade (or are even close to matchin' if we bein' real)

Ems verse in renegade was good but damn if that’s the only classic shit he spit because y’all keep naming that one song.

Your "meh" was highly expected.

Good day sir.

Idk why "i dont like/fuck with rapper A or B" keeps coming up as some sort of justification or something.

I like both of them and know their discography very extensively: while they were becoming popular, in the midst of their peak, and their drop down.

For all we know theres a higher chance u all were casual listeners

In terms of impact plenty -- his style of production has been heavily mimicked by sound cloud artists as well as major artists such as Russ, The Weeknd, Big Sean, Logic, G-Eazy and many others. He waged one of the biggest rap beefs since 50 Cent and Jarule. He's even bigger on social media coining plenty of terms from songs (0-100, YOLO, etc) and millions of women stay quoting him on social media. Dude had the whole world doing the ridiculous Keke dance for a year straight and what's even more crazy is even after rap beef or scandal he's progressively selling MORE records and just received his first diamond plaque something I don't even think Jay-Z or NaS have.

Jarule never took it this far. Ja was hot for 4 years 1999-2003 and that was the end of his chapter. Drake has been 10 years deep and widely hailed as the top 3 with Kendrick and Cole. Look I totally get that niggas don't like Drake but if I ask a nigga born post 1998 and they have Drake in their top 5 it's because of a completely new era. What I'm saying is Drake is mad influential to a whole different generation that don't have any ties to ours because it predates them.
Sion you wilding with this post. What exactly is his production style? Cuz last i checked it w/e is getting plays he copies, like most rappers now.

You cant be serious with this. You said it like he made this shit up then social media followed what he was doing. Shit was the other way around. You just proved my point about riding waves.

this list is mad wierd tho. 50 and Drake on here but not Kanye, Nas, Kendrick? Or did I just miss the last poll that had them?

Prime Em was by far and away the best rapper on that list.

Em is my pick. I wouldn't say far n away though. Prime mixtape weezy was a PROBLEM. Still em's songwriting, storytellin, flow, varying topics and most importantly, technical rapping skills supercede anything anyone on that list did in their prime. Bonnie n Clyde and Stan are two of the best storytellin songs in rap.

Em is a better technical rapper than all of them but he’s the master of rapping about bullshit. His subject matter was trash, and his music was average. Lose yourself, The Way I Am, and Stan carried his career which covered up the fact he was a lackluster song maker.

Let's be honest none of these 4 rappers had the best subject matters catalog. Wayne been rapping bout eating pussy for years, drake been rapping n singing bout bitches for years n 50 was gun talk. I would say Em had the most diverse subject matter, even if some of it was questionable. We even got "woke" em, even though the music was weird n trash
