Thing is em in his prime has a lot of goofy weird shit. His prime is what first 2 or 3 albums. Encore was the least weird
 
BETTER? It's Eminem. Wayne is pretty close. But Wayne's run from Carter 1 - Carter 3, mixtapes included aren't better than Eminem's first 3 albums.

But it's close enough that I wouldn't argue with a nigga who said Wayne.

Hes definitely super successful and has been the leader for the last how many years. I cant argue against that, but what has he had a major impact on? No one is dressing or talking like Drake. Drake is doing what other commercial rappers have done in the past. Jump on w/e wave is happening and capitalize off of it. Hes just had a longer run because of his strong female fan base and damn near a whole country supporting him. The impact wayne,em & 50 had when they were in their prime was on another level. And if social media was really around back then it would of been even bigger.

I compared him to Ja Rule cuz i felt he was doing the same shit and had the same fan base till him and Irv derailed their whole train.

A lot of Eminem albums haven't aged well ,I could listen to plenty of albums from that time period that aged way better than his.

I bounced all thru the 2000's Wayne dominated the clubs and black radio.

Em dominated the MTV pop crowd. College kids who thought em made them down.


That shit wasn't bumping like that with our people. If you voting Em you hung out with white kids. Clearly.

Cuz I was out there during this time. Wayne was the biggest and it wasn't even close.

Wayne was doing shows at clubs in every city. Chicks was going nuts.

I ain't never once heard them say Eminem was going to be at a club doing a show like the whole time he was on. Maybe in Detroit. But that nigga wasn't circulating the black club market. So the only exposure y'all was getting to em was to go above and beyond your environment.

Either on the internet, or hanging with white boys.

50, I never got into Waynes music, I really stopped after drought 2. Then he was over feeling himself with those mediocre bars that and all that fuck NY and dissing jay and Nas. Yeah foh. Dude talked all that shit he talked about em just to get washed on forever

Right, I listened to all these shits.

Baffles me every time I go thru Wayne's stuff. There's just nothin' GOAT about his raps at all. Or about his music. I remember when Money on my Mind came out, I thought it was super trash. And still do.

None of these songs can match Em's verses in Renegade (or are even close to matchin' if we bein' real)
