Remote. Its about peace of mind for me.

200k is cool...but is it worth the stress of management, coworkers, and other workplace obstacles? For me naw. I can't enjoy that 200k if I despise having to come to work and deal wit the bs on a regular basis.

During the pandemic...I loved working from home. I literally felt the difference. I was lil bit more happier. More relaxed. Being able to get up and not having to worry about getting dressed up. Or packing a lunch. Or rushing out the house so I can stop to get gas along the way. Forgetting shyt while leaving.

To be able to just walk in the living room, and pulling the curtains aside to allow natural light in. Instead of being stuck on the bottom floor wit NO windows, and bland walls all around. The enjoyment of watchin TV while working b/c it made the time working go by faster. To just walk in the kitchen and grab something to and enjoy it w/o having to rush back from break. Man.

It's ashame that it took a pandemic to give me the opportunity to work from home during that time.

Depends on if you like your bosses/co workers and enjoy going into work but in general work from home all day...

Dont have to deal with pretending to like co workers, management, avoid work place illnesses and social functions you dont want to go to, commuting, eating decent food at home etc

All that bruh. My morning routine once I get back from the gym is almost identical to yours: shower, throw on some shorts and a tee shirt, open the blinds for natural light, log into the vpn, let the cats out of the back room, then stick my head in the fridge to figure out breakfast. I might turn on the TV or turn on the Jazz station on the big stereo. Might hit "shuffle" on the 50+1 changer then sit off at my desk. No tellin someone I'm running to the bathroom or to lunch, if I get drowsy I'll take a 20 minute nap, if I need a mental break I'll throw on a vidya game or just get up and walk around.

Nobody peeking over my cube wall talmbout "how's it coming on that XYZ project?", "Where are you at with that automation script?", or whatever the fuck they want. Hit me on Teams and I'll get back to you within 10 minutes or so.

Nah, the freedom can't be understated here.

Apparently all work from home niggas move the same. This is my pretty much exact routine in the morning and throughout the day.

Peoples situations are different tbh...

I know couple people that say they benefit more cognitively and mental health wise going into the office and socialising as they feel being at home in the day and evening can too much, plus they want to get away from their Mrs and kids haha

I'm leaning towards in the office but id have to weigh the pros and cons.

Remote I could live anywhere in the world including places where that 100k goes a whooole lot further 🤔
Ain't you like a multi millionaire where you stay at now?
