He's a fire rapper, but he hasn't mastered song making yet. Him not working with different producers is fucking up his catalog.

Kendrick is one of the few niggas from this era who makes great MUSIC. His shit will sound good 30 years from now. Cole's shit borderline sounds like mixtape songs. This nigga's the new age Nas.

Funny you said this cuz over tha past 10 years or so Nas been falling in my list...used to be top 3...now he’s just top 10ish

I bought his KOD album and I liked it. But having grown up in the 80s, I can name 20+ rappers/MCs that had an album I liked that peaked before the 90s.

I understand that it's a new generation that J Cole appeals to, but it's difficult for me to compare the new generation to the old generation that I grew up on.

I haven't voted yet.
