Honestly I think it’s difficult to compare 1980’s Hip Hop to 2010’s Hip Hop of today...that like comparing 1950’s NBA to today NBA game...The fundamentals of the art/game is still there but the craft is tremendously broader from yesterday years

I agree when we're discussing impact, cuz the 80s artists can say "w/o us yall wouldn't be doing shit" , but the 2010 artists can say "we took what yall did and took it to a whole diff level", so they cancel eachother out . That's when discography and lyricism play a part, cuz those 2 things don't change.
