grew up with my mama's side....we're all tight but dont talk all the time....no problems we're just busy and none of us are really chatty, my sister hardly knows where her phone is half the time....I talk to my middle bro (27) probably weekly about hip hop or sports
didnt meet the ones on my dads side until we were grown.....they reach out more than I do (every few months or so), im just awkward and bad with splitting my free time
