Welcome To aBlackWeb

What's an occupation that you respect but can't/won't do?

People that work at places like auto parts store or some other mundane shit like selling lamps or some shit. I can’t do it, I can not being in the same place everyday, I’d go fucking crazy, I’d pull up to the building and cry.

My homie worked at Pep Boys for a decade and stole everything you could possibly steal outta that bitch.

Teacher or doctor. 2 professions people swear they can do with little to no training or knowledge all the time. I'd be calling patients and parents idiots to their face on a daily basis

When I was in the hospital with Covid I couldn't get up to go to the bathroom. So they gave me diapers. The orderlies would come in and change my diapers and give me a sponge bath.

While I'm glad they exist and the world probably couldn't function without orderlies, I couldn't do it.

I could change a baby's diapers (especially if it was my baby), but I'm not sure if I could change an adult's diapers. Especially somebody that I'm not related to.

I wonder how much orderlies make?

I have a degree in Criminal Justice, but I'm not sure if I could be a police officer. Simply because most of the interactions I've had with police officers were usually negative. They usually talk down to me and try to bully me. Especially when I get pulled over. It's the tone of voice they use when they talk to me.

I have a cousin who's police officer and he said that they talk to people that way to show force, to show who's in charge. But a lot of times its unnecessary imo.

I worked in IT for a moment and was absolutely floor at how computer illiterate people are. Man, I had had the same conversation..the same exact conversation on a day about 5 times and the day before I had the same convo 15. I quit on my lunch break. I was like, I thought I could do this shit, I can’t. Coming to the same place, these fuck nigga passive aggressive self important office people, these stupid clients. And people had been there for 10 years plus. It definitely takes a certain kinda person to do that shit. It definitely ain’t me.

Waiters. Food/customer service in general.

They really don't get paid enough to put up with the trash ass public.

What's wild about customer service jobs is people will swear they're easy but also admit that people are assholes and they get treated unfairly...but also continue to treat them like shit. Like people acknowledge the problem and still actively contribute to it

Anything in the medical field, and with the way I currently take care of my wife her doctor jokes that I'm a better CNA than the CNA's he works with in the hospital and her wound care specialist has repeatedly told me I'm good enough to be his assistant.

But fuck alladat. I only do the shit because I have to, I could NEEEEVER make a profession out of this shit.
