A plant is someone who's presence appears organic but is actually funded and put out by the machine

would this definition make any commercially platformed artist a plant by default?

while people may feel one is more deserving of being funded and put out than the other ... they all are still being funded and put out... ?

even when influenced by a level of noise below (or not) these arbitrary choices are still ultimately made by the machine
